We promote fun! The kids don't seem to notice that it's also a healthy and active environment.

CirKids is the oldest circus arts school in western Canada. More than 2000 kids have come through the CirKids program since we began in 1985. They come to learn how to walk a tight wire or swing on a trapeze but they leave knowing so much more. That's because learning circus skills teaches essential life skills like collaboration, cooperation, and trust.

Generous support from individuals, business, foundations and government have allowed us to establish:

• bursary programs
• community outreach programs
• performance opportunities
• safer training conditions through the purchase of specialized equipment
