Performance and the circus arts is a magical combination. The beauty and drama of dance and theatre mixed with athletic agility is pure enchantment.
CirKids love to perform. In addition to the physical skills our kids acquire, they also learn the art of show building. This focus develops concentration, trust, and provides goals. Working their skills into a show with costumes and music is a gratifying and very fun way to show their world what they've learned.
We provide at least two performance opportunities a year:
- December Showcase - the kids demonstrate their new skills for parents and friends
- June - end of year show with costumes and music
- Throughout the year kids present class work to fellow students
The Performance Troupe
The CirKids Performance Troupe attracts students with a real interest in training and performance. Students audition in June for admission for the following September. They train a minimum of 12 hours a week and prepare for shows, big and small throughout the year. Their biggest focus is the annual spring show, a theatrical extravaganza open to the public. The Performance Troupe also performs at festivals and corporate and community events.
You can book CirKids performers for your company picnic or gala opening. But we can only fit in so many performances a year so make your request early to avoid disappointment.
