Stacking bike is much harder than it looks, definitely one "not to try at home." It requires balance, but, even more, relies on each rider to be precise and steady.
CirKid's stacking bike was built in China; it's designed to carry the weight of twelve full-grown, average-sized adults. Like a unicycle or a tricycle, its direct chain drive cannot freewheel, like a regular two-wheeler bike. Keep pedalling if the wheels are turning, or the pedals hit you in the back of the leg - ouch!.
In CirKids shows, there is always at least one spotter running with the bike to catch people should anything happen. We're proud of our good record for safety, and we want to keep it!
